- Knocked Out Tooth: Retrieve the tooth, being careful not to touch the root. Place the tooth in a cup or milk or water during transport to the office.
- Chipped or Cracked Tooth: Depending on pain level, a chipped or cracked tooth is not a dental emergency, though you should schedule an appointment soon. Take care not to chew difficult foods that may cause pain or further damage.
- Pain or Swelling: Antibiotic therapy may be required. Contact the office during normal office hours or call the 24/7 emergency line to have a prescription called in to your local pharmacy.
